Having your property inspected in early spring by a professional is critical before any major projects are planned and even any maintenance started.
Your landscape professional will inspect the grounds looking for any damages that need to be addressed caused by winter weather. Trees, shrubs, perennials, ornamental grasses and turf will be addressed, hardscapes checked for heaving, cracking, and plowing damages. Drainage issues are usually most prevalent as well at this time of year.
Together with your landscape professional you can devise a season long plan to not only maintain your grounds but help improve it to better stand up to next winter's onslaught. A well executed plan will help save time, money and most importantly keep you from doing unnecessary and or double work on the landscape.
